Mayor Samsam Gullas signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

Earlier today, we signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) together with United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Philippine Business for Education, Youthworks PH, and our Talisay City Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
This MOU signifies the legal partnership of the Local Government Unit (LGU) together with agencies who commit to working together with our City Government towards a common goal which is to further improve Talisay Livelihood Center’s programs in the City through our Education and Skills Training.
This program aim to help our TESDA students in their trainings and also in displacing them after they have graduated on their respective TESDA courses.
So, naa tay training, naay scholarships, naa natay facility sa Talisay, human karon naa sad tay mga partners na mutabang nila nga maka kita og trabaho or to connect them to businesses nga nangita sad sa ilang skills.
We have already started TESDA Programs and scholarships in our City and we will fully support this partnership because their goal is also paralell to what we have envisioned for the City when it comes to Education and skills training.
I look forward to this and I hope that through our program we could further improve the education, skills and livelihood of our people in the City of Talisay.
